Lola and Sadie are jumping for joy that we're getting another snow day!!
Livie is less enthusiastic about this winter weather.
Last year, Livie LOVED the snow.
This year, she's decided to be a diva about getting her paws wet.
Leave it to Miss Livie Lou to always keep us on our toes.
Tug of war.. a family favorite!
Miss Livie Lou continues to hold her champion title!
Christmas movies for the win!
Lola and Sadie seemed to really like the Christmas Chronicals 2 on Netflix.
The puppies, the tree, the fire... This really is a magical way to start the day.
The puppy count is down to three... by dinner time, the puppy pen will be in the attic. Tomorrow morning will start a little later, and the house will be just a little quieter.
We're going to miss them.
However, we are LOVING all the excited faces, sweet pictures, and little updates.
Thank you all for trusting us to help grow your family!
You will all forever be a part of our hearts.
Eight weeks flew by.
We knew they would, but there really is no way to prepare for how fast time can pass.
This is always a bittersweet time for our family.
We said our first goodbye this afternoon and in just 48 hours, the puppy pen will be empty.
I'd be lying if I said we weren't a little sad, BUT
we are so excited for their families to meet them!
Everyone is going into great hands!
It is so cold outside, we kept the weekly photoshoot very simple today.
Miss Renley (the human in the picture) INSISTED on getting a Christmas pic with the babies before they leave!
We get asked allllll the time if we really crate all the puppies... You guys, I promise, I wouldn't say it if it weren't true!
We had a few VERY long nights and a few accidents, but we are now two days in to no accidents and very little fussing!
The night light/ sound machine seemed to do the trick for this litter.
I'm a day early, but I thought I'd knock out the blog before the holiday.
We had our visit with Dr. Brent today at Cimarron Animal Clinic and all went well.
These babies are doing wonderful.
They weighed in between 4.6 and 5.9 pounds.
They all took their shots like champs and the assistant let us know that it was VERY obvious they had grown up with kids because puppies who grow up with kids tend to be much more affectionate and easy going... As they licked all over her face! Ha! Ha!
Crate training is going well. We have been sleeping in crates using the buddy system this week and tomorrow we will begin sleeping solo.
The cold, rainy weather put a slight kink on house training the last few days, but we're going strong today and we will keep it up!
