Five weeks old! Every week goes by faster than the last. This entire litter is doing fantastic! They love puppy food, playing outside, and one on one attention! We are having so much fun watching them grow and getting to know each of their personalities.
What a fun week it's been! We're experiencing a lot more play time between naps and they are really starting to show interest in the humans of the house! They eagerly greet us every single time we come to the puppy pen.. When they're awake, we are constantly surrounded by wagging tails and an uncountable amount of puppy kisses... it really is a magical time!
They are eating well and growing right on track. It's hard to believe they are only three weeks away from meeting their forever families.
Four weeks is a big week around here! It marks the half way point of their journey with us. They have grown and changed so much in the last four weeks and will continue to grow and change even more in the next four.
Little personalities are starting to shine through, tails are wagging, and they are learning how to play. The first four weeks are sweet, but this where the fun and adventure really begins! We are so excited to really start playing and learning who these pups are.
Sunny and seventy-five, my girls could NOT wait a single moment longer to take these pups outside! They are still more interested in playing with each other than us at this point, but the kids still love to witness all of their big milestones! We took them out in small groups, so we could really take in their reactions. So much the same, but also, so different! We sure love these growing babies!
River and Stormy seemed to like the sunshine, but they were not too sure about the wind. The huddled together and took in the sights.
Millie and Mocha were definitely the hardest to photograph today. Millie looked everywhere but the camera and Mocha was pretty determined to explore! There were way too many new and interesting things around to focus on the camera!
Lily, Apollo, and Arlo were the perfect three to end on. Apollo kept nudging his siblings to play, but the other two were so thrown off by the wind and new surroundings that they didn't budge! They just kept looking at me like "Where did you take us!?" Of course, it didn't take long for curiosity to set in and the sniffing began.
Sunny and Oaks loved being outside! The kindly looked at the camera, I snapped a quick picture, and off they went!
Ms. Willow and Ramo are the perfect pair, they are both so laid back. We took them outside and they both relaxed and took in the sights! Between the kids, blowing leaves, and Mama dogs there was plenty to keep them entertained without even having to move.
Stotzi,Ms. Blossom, and Koba all seemed happy to check out the great outdoors. Stotzi loved it instantly. She sniffed and took in all of the sights. I know it looks like Ms. Blossom is cuddled into Koba for comfort, but really she is trying to make a break for it! She was so excited to be outside, the last thing she wanted to do was sit still for a picture! Ha! Ha! Koba was memorized by all the new surroundings! His eyes were wide open and tail was wagging as he took it all in.
All you need it love and a dog...
Things are really getting fun around here! The puppies have left the whelping box and are now in the "puppy pen" where they have plenty of room to play and explore. They were introduced to toys this week and have all found their voices!
Each week gets better and better! We're so excited to watch their little personalities grow and develop! We're really hoping the weather will cooperate and the next pictures you see will be OUTSIDE! We can't wait for them to experience their first taste of real sunshine and fresh air.
Happy Easter, Everyone!
With Love from, Sunny," "Oaks," Hazel, Ramo, "Blossom," Koba, and Stotzi.
And more love from, "River," Stormy, Mocha, "Daisy," "Lily," Apollo, and Arlo.
21 Days... that's how long these sweet babies have been with us, and look how much they have already changed! Everyone is doing great. They are just as round as they are long. Livie is making sure no puppy is ever hungry! :)
With eyes and ears wide open, they are experiencing their world (the whelping box) in a whole new way. It's so fun watching them learn to walk and check out their surroundings. We are loving watching them grow and can't wait to celebrate their first Easter this weekend! **Super cheesy Easter pictures are sure to come! Ha! Ha!)
Seven Days... How is it possible to grow and change so much in JUST seven days?
Their little eyes and ears are both wide open and working great! This was the fastest picture day yet. Kambrie held a little toy and sang, and they were all memorized by the new sights and sounds.
I have even noticed they are starting to play with each other! This is where the fun really begins. Every week gets more and more exciting!
Week Two flew by!
Eyes are all various stages of open.
Little legs are getting stronger and bellies are slowly getting off the ground.
It is so fun watching their wobbly little legs learn how to walk.
We are looking forward to ears opening up this week.
We love getting to cuddle these babies! There really couldn't have been a better time for my kids to be home from school. Rest assured, all of your pups will be well versed in Dr. Suess and Piggie and Gerald books by the time they go home. Puppies make the best listeners. :)
